About the game
Family Tug of War is a game for two people sitting face to face at one screen. Whoever pulls the rope marker more toward their own side wins.
A round is 10 seconds. Each quick tap on your button pulls the rope one step, and the round ends at once if the rope reaches one end.
Before you start, type what the loser will do in the penalty box, and the result screen shows the winner and the penalty in big letters. Leave it empty to finish with applause.

Computer controls
- The left player taps the A key and the right player taps the L key quickly.
- You can also click the big buttons with the mouse.
Smartphone controls
- Sit facing each other with the screen between you and each press your own big button.
- Both players can press at the same time and each is counted.
Good to know
- A round is 10 seconds and ends right away if the rope reaches one end.
- When 10 seconds are up, the side the rope is closer to wins, and dead center is a draw.
- The penalty is used only on this screen and is neither saved nor sent to a server.
- There are no ads inside the game screen.
